Welcome to the website of the House of Nature! Our environmental education facility is located on the Venusberg in Bonn in the middle of the Kottenforst forest.

Here you can experience the forest as a habitat with all your senses - whether in our permanent exhibition on the subject of urban forests or outdoors in the great outdoors with our wide range of forest tours and workshops. In accordance with the sustainability strategy adopted by the Council of the Federal City of Bonn in February 2019, Haus der Natur will make an important local contribution to achieving the sustainability goal of "high-quality education" through its work and serve as a regional platform for all those active in the field of education for sustainable development.

Opening hours

April till October

  • Wednesday to Friday: 10 am to 5 pm
  • Saturday, Sunday and holidays: 10 am to 6 pm

November till March

  • Wednesday to Sunday and holidays: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
