The premises are made available exclusively for events on topics relating to education for sustainable development, nature conservation or sustainability.

The seminar rooms in the Haus der Natur are available on request.

The application must be submitted in writing to Haus der Natur, An der Waldau 48, 53127 Bonn, or via the request form linked above. The exact topic of the event must be specified.

A written rental agreement will be concluded for the use of the rooms. A private-law fee (rent) is charged for the use of the seminar rooms.

For the small seminar room (seminar room 1, 36m²) the rent is

• for the first 3 hours: 75 Euro
• for each additional hour or part thereof: 25 euros
• for one day (max. daily rate): 150 Euro

For the multifunctional room (seminar room 2, 110m²) the rent is

• for the first 3 hours: 225 Euro
• for each additional hour or part thereof: 75 euros
• for one day (max. daily rate): 450 Euro

The above rent includes the costs for WLAN, lectern and lecture seating (seminar room 1 max. 20 persons / seminar room 2 max. 50 persons), lighting and heating as well as cleaning.

Additional technology and equipment provided by the Haus der Natur will be charged per day as follows

• Presentation monitor 25 Euro
• Whiteboard 10 Euro
• Flipchart 10 Euro
• Presentation case 10 Euro

The premises of the Haus der Natur can be rented outside the specified opening hours if staff capacity permits. If necessary, a surcharge may be levied depending on the additional actual personnel and organizational costs (additional staff, technical support, etc.).

The seminar rooms will be made available free of charge to municipal departments that organize events on the topics of education for sustainable development, nature conservation or sustainability.

Non-profit organizations in Bonn are granted a 50 % discount on this rate if they do not generate any income from the event. If the event does generate income, the reduction is 20%.

Organizations with which the City of Bonn, Office for the Environment and Urban Greenery, House of Nature, has concluded a cooperation agreement may use the seminar rooms free of charge if the event does not generate any income and corresponds to the platform function of the House of Nature in the field of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).
